Hi Lazies,
Zsofi here. For those who don’t know me, I’m the founder of Lazy Women— an international media platform and community. The intention behind starting the project has always been to provide myself and everyone else a creative outlet to express our feelings and frustrations around contemporary womanhood.
Lazy Women has grown tremendously in the past 5 years, and much of my time has been dedicated to managing the project itself, our 50+ volunteers, and editing articles for our website.
It has all been more rewarding (and also more difficult) than I could have ever imagined. Yet lately, I have been feeling the growing need to return to my roots, to let not only others but also myself participate in that creative space at the core of Lazy Women again.
This is why I am so excited to announce that from March onwards, I’m diving right back in. Lazy Women is launching a brand new newsletter (in addition to the monthly one by our editors) written by me, available to our paid subscribers.
The concept? An ode to the comfort of the agony aunt columns many of us have grown up on, the Dear Lazies newsletter will be guided by your questions, inner dramas, and desires.
Are you going through a breakup or quarter-life crisis? Or simply fed up navigating society’s pressures? Scared to follow your intuition because it’s in contradiction with what’s expected of you?
Your Lazy Aunt Zsofi (it’s me, hi) is here to help and offer that little boost you might need when you're too boggled up with worries or confusion in this modern life.
How will it work? To get this going, I’m counting on you, Lazies. You can send me your questions and dilemmas – anonymously – here. Each month, I’ll select one of them to dissect, analyse, and seek answers together.
Why this column, you might ask. In the past five years, I have written about relationships, love, grief, friendships, beauty standards, and more. I have always been drawn to deeply personal topics and to writing in a format that provides concrete steps or advice to our readers. And while I don’t claim to have figured it all out — far from it – I am here to offer my honest insights and to say out the hard truths.
By submitting your questions, you are also offering a chance for other lazy women out there to relate or find comfort.
Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned from 5 years of Lazy Women, it’s that the personal is political — in other words, we’re all navigating the same mess, just in different ways.
The Dear Lazies newsletter launches on March 16th! With just €5/month, you’ll unlock full access — not only to Dear Lazies but also to our free newsletter, our entire archive of past content, and exclusive members-only discussions and threads.
More than that, your subscription directly supports our incredible volunteers, giving busy women the space and time to make this project thrive.
📩 Subscribe today to ensure the very first Dear Lazies newsletter lands in your inbox this March!
so excited!!
