In this episode Lazy Selin is joined by Ayesha Amin, the founder of Baithak, a Pakistan-based organisation working to increase women’s access to sexual and reproductive health.
Baithak seeks to challenge taboos and create safe spaces for women to discuss sexual and reproductive health, holding conversations on a variety of topics from menstruation to gender-based violence. Amin discusses what led her to setting up the organisation, the biggest challenges she has faced as a female-founder in a patriarchal society and why working with men is also important if we want to improve women’s access to information and healthcare.
